Wind Ensemble

The Wind Ensemble is the major instrumental performance ensemble on the BHS campus. Membership is based upon audition and advanced musicianship. This class is open to all grade levels. The first semester will concentrate on marching band related music, concert literature, advanced technical studies, ensemble drill along with preparation for concert performances. The second semester will focus primarily with performances and touring. This ensemble performs at concerts, festivals and other related events. This course meets district graduation requirements for Fine Arts credit. Various Wind and Percussion musicians from this group will also be the Wind and Percussion section for the Symphony Orchestra.
