» Driller Achievements 2006 - 2007
This year our members have put on many performances and enjoyed several victories. This is a summary of our performances this year.
» Stockdale Rating Festival
On the 23rd of March the Wind Ensemble received a superior rating while the Orchestra and Concert Band received a good rating. The Color Guard and Drumline each received first place at the PPAACC competition in Delano.
» Marching Band Championships
The BHS Marching Band went to Championships December 1 and placed 4th overall in the 2A division. GOOD SKILL!!
» FIRST Instrumental Music Boosters Meeting for this upcoming year
Instrumental Music Boosters Meeting Thursday July 13, 2006, 6:30 in the band room.
» Wind Ensemble Tour
The BHS wind ensemble went to Anaheim and Riverside to play at the Disneyland Festival and SCSBOA. They received a Superior at the Disneyland Festival and an Excellent at SCSBOA.
» SCSBOA Festival
The BHS Wind Ensemble received a Superior Rating from all three judges at festival March 2- unanimous superior rating- this a very rare occurence especially so early in the season. The Wind Ensemble had to been to the SCSBOA festival in a while. This rating earns them a SCSBOA regional festival placing that they will attend when the go on tour this May.
» Last Chance For DVDs
The absolute last day to order a Driller Music 2005 DVD is Tuesday, September 4, 2005. No DVD orders will be taken after this time and no more discs will ever be produced again. For current students DVDs will be delivered to the music office for pick up by your student on Friday, September 9, 2005. Graduated seniors will have their DVDs delivered to their addresses listed on their order forms.

» Driller Music DVDs
Driller Music 2005 DVDs will go on sale right here on the website on June 29, 2005. The price will be $15 per DVD. They will be hand-delivered in late August or early September. Besides the end-of-the-year video, the DVD will include performance footage from the Marching Band, Color Guard, Drum Line, Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, and Concert Band.

Jr. Varsity Guard placed fourth, Varsity Guard placed second, and the Drum Line defended their first place championship at PPAACC finals on Saturday, April 30th. Congratulations!

» Dayton Prelims
The drum line scored an 82.15 in prelims at WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio Thursday evening. More info to come.

The drum line is now in Dayton, Ohio for WGI World Championships. Prelims are on Thursday, Semi-Finals on Friday, and Finals on Saturday. We'll be updating the site with new info from Dayton as it arrives, so keep checking back!

Congrats to the Drum Line (1st), Varsity Guard (1st), and Jr. Varsity Guard (5th) for their great performances at the Delano PPAACC show. Keep up the good work drillers!

A small reunion band is being formed to play at various alumni class reunions throughout the year.
» Downtown Elementary Gig
The marching band will be playing at a flag raising ceremony for Downtown Elementary school on Wednesday, September 29th.
» Tuesday Rehearsal
We're out on Griffith Tuesday night from 6-9pm. Don't be late, and keep practicing over the weekend!
» Thursday Rehearsal
Don't forget Thursday rehearsal 3-5pm after school.
» Tuesday Rehearsal
Tuesday night is our first rehearsal during the school year. We'll be practicing under the lights on Griffith from 6-9pm. Meet in the band room.
» Band Camp Potluck
The annual end-of-band-camp potluck is Tuesday night from 6-9pm in the cafeteria. Please bring a dish according to your last name.

Band camp is not over! We continue Monday and Tuesday with uniform sizing on Wednesday.
